In the year 2041 the worlds intelligence is at an all time low as well as employment rates falling with crime rising. A company named 'Oblivian' start to entice the public into buying their new drug which supposedly increases brain power in a safe, afforable way. After four years nearly everyone becomes addicted to the drug named 'Flight' and on the day 1461 exactly four years and one day after the release date, the first symtoms start to show. The drug increases brain power but after having four years of the paranoia and aggression effects growing and developing the destruction of the planet begins to unveil. The story follows 16 year old Paige Porter trying to escape a world full of people trying to kill her and her meeting with Seth Black whom she promises she won't let herself trust. It also follows 14 year old Lucy who's blood may contain the cure for the drug as the symtoms never leave the host and her travels with Tom, whom worked in developing the drug but quit after he realised what Oblivians real aim was.
