Paris is being terrorized by a Miraculous Holder named Gabriel Agreste, who lost his wife using the damaged Ladybug Miraculous. He could easily get a hold of their miraculous. One might think the miraculous stopped working after the unplugging, but they couldn't be more wrong. Ladybug and Chat Noir managed to salvage what miraculouses they could and guard it. But now, with another possible Hawkmoth on their tail, and one that most likely knew their identity, it was imperative to find new holders. So, the new guardians gave their miraculi to their kwamis and went in search of someone whom they could trust, and most importantly, unexpected.
