Image a world where you are given a necklace at birth. It is half of another necklace. Your piece of the necklace is uniquely made to fit another. Each type can be the same age, or a few years apart. Each baby is given the opposite soulmates piece. The female will receive the male half, and the male will receive the female half. This happens so the spirit of the soul mate matches the others necklace half. Now it is time to meet our characters and see how they deal with school, walking past each other in the halls, and how it feels to have your necklace react to having your soulmate so close and so far. In the kingdom of NewCrest, everyone has a necklace like this. Each necklace is half of a whole. In this kingdom there are two types of people. Their are the Spirit Seers and the Normals. Each half of a necklace is given to one of each type. Everyone in the kingdom has a soulmate. These necklaces help you find the right one. If you are near them, your necklace will become warm. If you drift away from them, the necklace will become as cool as ice. This tactic, prevents people going through heart breaks. Welcome to the story of a Spirit Seer named Dailyn Rose. Dailyn is 17 and a powerful Spirit Seer. She is able to figure out what colour your spirit is, the size of your spirit, and why your spirit chose you. She is 1 in a 100 Spirit Seers to gain this ability is 500 years. Dailyn was given a necklace in the shape of an earthen giant. Dailyn's spirit is a pixie. And also welcome to the story of a Normal named Mattrius Rivers. Mattrius is 18 and a very special Normal. Most Normals are not able to hear spirits talk among one another. He is what Spirit Seers call a "Spirit Normal". His mind has created a connection with the spirits. This means that the spirits have chosen him, to be the soulmate of the strongest Spirit Seer of their time. Mattrius was given a necklace in the shape of a pixie. Mattrius's spirit is an earthen giant.
