Alex and Norma both want to start a family together but due to Norman dying a year before Norma didn't want anymore children herself so Alex and Norma both settled on adoption. But will the decision of adoption be the best option?

When Sheriff Romero meets Norma Bates he is filled with an immense irritation towards her as well as an overwhelming need to protect her. Will Romero break free from the force that is pulling them together? Or are they both doomed in the end?

Married life with Alex is going great, better than great, the motel is successful and life in general seems to be on the up for Norma until she meets a fiery young girl with the weight of the world on her shoulders and several dark secrets that could scare off anyone, but not Norma, she doesn't scare easily. This is a story of unlikely friendships, unbreakable bonds, hardships, pain, love, compassion and hope. Not my usual type of story, but something a little new. I'm testing the waters to see what people think of this! So feedback would mean a lot! (I've not forgotten my other stories! They are being worked on too!)

I decided to put together a story about Vestor, one or favorite ships, right?! AU where Alex and Norma grow up next door to one another.

Sequel to Time To Pretend (A Vestor Story). If you haven't read that...you should. Anyways, this is placed about a year after the finale of Season Five of Bates Motel. I do not own Bates Motel. If I did, it would NEVER END!!!

Alex Romero loves Norma Bates, he doesn't know how it happened or why it happened, but he knows that he will never stop loving her.

Set back in the 1900's. Norma Bates is married to a man named Sam Bates who is a captain of the army. She and her two sons fend for themselves for the most part until a certain dark eyed man changes their world. I thought of this idea whilst watching Boy In The Striped Pajamas if that says anything.

After marrying Alex and taking Norman to Pineview, Norma had been having a hard time coping with all that has happened. Through countless efforts of trying to get in touch with her son, Norma finally had the opportunity to talk with him, but instead told her that he could never forgive her for making him stay at Pineview and he no longer had feelings for her. When she got home, she ran into Alex, who she only married for insurance. Everything was bringing her down, but there was one thing, one person that was holding her up, Alex Romero.
