Daphne lived a quiet and peaceful life in a small village in Northumbria. She would even describe it as boring. She had some friends and a family, however she didn't really feel truly happy. Some times she would even find herself hoping that something different would happen, something that would change her life and the plans of her arranged future. But that didn't mean she ever wished for the destruction of her village. Neither for the death of her people. And certainly not for herself being a captive in the hands of a ruthless viking.
