Do you know it's only in Africa where parents remove their spectacles to hear exactly what you're saying? ~ This will be a sort of diary thingie magie that I can write in. Get ready for rants, some tears (from me not from you lol) and a bit of humour.

Nada slowly falls down to the ground, miles away from the fight landing in a forest. The glow around her settles down and the symbols on her face and body fade away. She feels the power in her calm down. Nada sighs, she feels tired and is in shock of what just went down. Ever since she discovered that she had these abilities she felt like there was more to her story Ofcourse what are the odds that a normal girl from Chicago possessed the same kind of tribal powers as the natives from the Atlas Mountains. But this? This was far bigger than she could've ever imagined... In this story we follow Nada, a girl from Chicago that just found out her birth parents are from North Africa. together with her best friend Nyx she explores her heritage and finds new and unexpected friends. hoping to find answers about her past she uncovers a whole new world.

Imagine being somewhere you know so well. Suddenly, the lights are turned off and you don't recognize where you are. That's how going back to Cairo for vacation felt for Nour. The thirteen year old has been dreaming for over two years of the moment she goes back home. Thing is, home didn't feel like home anymore. It's true that the building she used to live in was still the same, but its inhabitants were far from being the same. Her best friends were acting in ways she couldn't understand. Out of nowhere, she found herself thrusted in the middle of a jumble of endless problems. Every time she tried to help, things only kept getting out of hand. In the middle of all the chaos, a rhythm she didn't understand was starting to play within her heart. If only it remained within her heart, maybe she would've gotten herself into less trouble. Apparently, summer in Cairo was going to be more adventurous than she ever expected.
