Long distance sucks. But it also is so romantic. But it also sucks. She's in Alabama, he's in North Dakota. But 1800 miles is only a number to them. Based on a true story.

The bell rang and Clare walked out of her math class with her backpack on her shoulder. 'Great. Another day at a school I could care less about.' As she walked down the hallway, her headphones blasting music, the loudspeaker turned on. She pulled one of the sides off her ear. "Would Clare and Brennan Brockman, please report to the Main Office." Clare threw her hands up in the air, almost hitting someone in the face. "I didn't even do anything!" She stuffed her hands in her pockets and headed down the stairs to see what was the problem now. Part of the credit goes to @HotHead-Alaska and @_Agent_Arizona_ for giving me some of the ideas for writing this story :) (You guys should read their stories!! They are amazing!) The beginning also is kind of like other ones you might have read, I'm sorry, but it is a good way to start of this one. I only own the names of Wisconsin and Minnesota. That's it.

He begins to have dreams that involve the girl that died five years prior at his new school and then one day he finds her in his backyard by a lake. Carter starts to piece together Fae's life, and death, coming to a haunting realization. But, he also starts to learn that through his interactions with Fae, he's bringing her back to life in a way he never thought possible. Could Carter actually help save Fae's soul?
