Emil has always been wary of his powers. They've hurt his brother and ostracized him. Even his parents feared him, though they never would tell him that. He agreed with his parents to be locked in a room, to be chained with the coldest metal he's ever felt if his powers became too much for him. But he himself trembled in fear of what he was capable of. The only cure for his melancholia was an imaginary friend, a boy who came from the frostbitten corners of his room. Immune to the cold, Emil was glad to have his company. The boy was his only solace in the dark chill of his room. Oh, how he loved that boy. A year after Frozen 2, Anna and Kristoff have their first child, a daughter named Aila. Aila was born with the mark of the spirits of Ahtohallan on her wrist and the same powers as her aunt Elsa. At age 3, her parents make the hard decision to send her away to live with her aunt in the Enchanted Forest. But on Aila's 15th birthday, an accident with her powers leads to a war between the Northuldra people, Arendelle, and the Southern Isles, now ruled by Hans after the "accidental" death of all twelve of his brothers. When King Agnarr and Queen Iduna of Arendelle travel to a nearby town to the East of their kingdom for a proposal to rebuild an old clock tower and safeguard the town from highwaymen and bandit tribes their two daughters, Princess Elsa and Anna, go missing. A day later a search party finds them along with a young boy who the Princesses say saved them. King Agnarr and Queen Iduna thank the boy and learn that his is very much like their eldest daughter, but with lightning and is in control of it.
