Sodor. Home of the North Western Railway and of steam engines from a time long past. But, it is not the only place steam engines are welcome. There is a railway similar to Sodor, hidden within in the Lake District National Park, where steam and diesel reside on, and feel safe and at peace there. This has to do during when Thomas came to The Island Of Sodor (most of the history is not accurate to the railway series or the TV Series but is based upon the early years of the north western railway aka "the island of sodor.")
