She ends up camped out in her parents' tiny, "storage" cabin off Loon Lake and while working as a barista at a small coffee shop unexpectedly finds herself witnessing a crime. Her instincts took over, and she's now solved a couple of mysteries for the Eagle River PD with the massive assistance of her best friend from high school, Samantha Orwitz, who now happens to be a detective for the department. This time around, Sam calls Jordy with a cold case that has suddenly warmed up quite a bit. Is there really a ghost haunting a recently renovated resort north of town? The two women are determined to find answers.
