Robert Vale has two problems:
First, his grandmother, who is both terminally ill and terrifyingly stubborn, has decided that Robert has been single for far too long. According to her, it's time for him to "touch the grass," which in Grandma Vale's language means: go, and get a love life!
But then comes the second problem:
Grandma Vale has already chosen the "perfect person" for him, and it's none other than Emil Weiss-Robert's most reliable and loyal personal assistant slash head butler, who has been running the Vale household (and Robert's life) for the last twenty years.
Robert thinks the whole thing is absolutely ridiculous. For starters, he's straight. And the last thing he needs is for his grandmother to start playing matchmaker with the staff just to fulfill her dying wish. Unfortunately, Grandma Vale is both persistent and stubborn, and Robert loves her far too much to refuse, so he ends up doing the most embarrassing thing he's ever done:
He asks Emil to pretend to be his lover.
Easy task, right?
Well, it would be-except Emil suddenly starts acting strangely around him, like he's hiding something, and Robert has a very bad feeling that this "simple favor" is about to spiral into a disaster he is absolutely not ready for.
