During the battle of the three deities, in the midst of it, Takemichi got taken away by the Reaper. Two people who lost a friend, one who fell in the void a long time ago tried to comfort the other one who was in the middle of falling into the abyss called darkness. OR Takemichi got kidnapped in the middle of the war, the dread inside his body made him numb as he let the guy take him. But he never expected the guy to be 𝘩𝘪𝘮 though.

What if the Thermians never crashed in the lives of these actors playing as the space crew? What if they kept living their whole damn life in the conventions? Ever consider how one thing can change your life in an instant? Ever been faced with the reality that our time isn't infinite? We all have that problem that's a burden on us, a problem if we just faced it our lives would be so much easier, but its a problem that's so hard to tackle, that it's simply easier to push it to the side for now. We go about our lives believing we have plenty of time to fix things and resolve that problem, but deep down we all know that isn't true. That problem is a ticking time bomb where one day it will be too late to fix, yet we are to scared to face that reality so instead everyone goes along with the naive hope that everything will be fine. However one day reality will hit and it will hit hard. You never know when it's going to come knocking; you're never ready for your life to abruptly change but it can happen anytime. For one Diluc Ragnvindr, reality hit him hard! He never expected his life to change that night but when he walked up those tavern stairs, his fate was sealed and the timer had started. tldr: Diluc finds Kaeya poisoned in the tavern and realises he's racing against time t save his brother but also get to reconcile with him.

Diluc could lie to everyone, to the whole wide world, but no matter how much he wished he could, he could never lie to his heart. Because it wasn't just a stupid bracelet, now was it? It did't mean anything- it meant everything. It was the sole item that kept him close to his brother. It was the thing that connected them. It was their friendship bracelet and it showed the world how strong their bond was. He may have disowned Kaeya but deep down he was always his brother, his inability to remove the bracelet proved that. TLDR: Kaeya made Diluc a friendship bracelet when they were kids and noticed Diluc still wearing it one night, after everything they've been through, leading to a reconciliation. A friendship bracelet saves the day.
