Notbroken Stories

This is a very personal and emotional story for me. I was apprehensive about showing all of you this part of my life, but I think that it will help me move on with my life and get over some of my fears. I hope you guys enjoy it. I also have a chance at getting this particular short story published in the near future.

This is a book of poetry that was written during an episode or right after. I am okay and there is no need to worry about me but I felt I needed to share this with the people who felt they had nothing. You always have at least one person, you just got to find them, I promise it gets so much better. At the age of 4 Isla was left for dead on the old country roads.... now she is determined not to let anyone hurt her again.

Tempest was a happy, healthy teenage girl until a tragic accident unleashes her worst nightmare from the depths of her own mind. She is cursed with depression, a disease that fills her with utter hopelessness that spills over, locking her in an invisible box of despair. She is terrified by the horrific thoughts that bubble to the surface without mercy of death and darkness. She escapes to a remote cabin nestled between the bluffs along the ocean shore as she battles for her life from one thing she never thought she would fight: herself.
