Have you ever had a rough notebook? I don't know if you have, but I-and everyone I know-have always had one. It was probably the most "useless" yet the most important notebook we owned. A place where we scribbled random thoughts, solved sums, doodled, and did just about anything. It was a little world of its own. This story idea came from a silly banter with my brother. We were arguing about how unappreciated rough notebooks are when he suddenly said, "But it's the most important one. It's an all-rounder-an all-in-one notebook." That simple sentence made me think of how a rough notebook is much like a homemaker: always giving, always helping, yet rarely receiving the appreciation it deserves. And that's how the idea for the short but eventful journey of a rough notebook was born. This is a completely original story written by me. Any similarities to other stories, characters, or events are purely coincidental.
