They struggle a lot with paying bills, trying to keep there kids fed and with clothes on their backs. They have to do certain things to survive, like eat once a day to make the food last, or they have to shower a certain amount of times a week so the water bill isn't so high. They move to a new city because they got put out of their old home for not paying the rent on time. Mason doesn't have any friends so it didn't affect him much but he also didn't want to go to a new school where the kids will talk about his clothes because they weren't the latest trends everyone was wearing. Don't even get him started on shoes. He tries his hardest to help his parents by working for hours after school along with his sisters at the local food bank and homeless shelter They might not have much but they always try to help give back since they can't really give anything. He knows that he tries his best to help his parents but some how he always feels like he isn't doing enough even though he is doing the best job he could and his parents appreciate everything he and his sisters do. ©️10/2/2
