Cups repaired themselves, time stitched backward, and lies often passed for the truth. Yet deep beneath the marble floors of the palace of hearts, something was broken-something that the princess of hearts could not fix with guards or decrees.

Once. it had been a gate to countless worlds. Now it existed only in shards of glass: scattered blueprints, locked doors, and half remembered magic. The princess of hearts ruled Wonderland with absolute control, and she intended to keep it that way. NO one would leave. No one would challenge her story.
But stories, like mirrors, crack when pressure is applied.
And two outcasts were about to apply a great deal of pressure.
