After Adileigh drags Sephora to an annual town festival, she runs into her secret, Tokio Hotel. They are a growing phenomaon around the world and not to mention Adileigh's favorite band. A line annoced by Bill, throws off Adileigh in a confused state, who now wants to dig deeper into what happened while Sephora was in Europe. While digging, other secrets become unveiled to reveal conections between Sephora and the Tokio Hotel twins. Is it true? The secret hid behind the lies. Only one knows. "Why wear a mask?" "Why not?" Reclusive, bookish, quiet. Those are all words to describe Reed Jamison; that is, if you ask the other students at Springfield High. Reed isn't exactly a girl that sticks out in a town like Springfield, and that suits her just fine. She doesn't want to stick out. Of course, that all changes at the schools annual Masquerade Dance when she collides with Him. Warren Young, a boy whose name is synonymous with terror and trouble, is her intimidating neighbor, who uses violence to get his way. He's the only person to ever really notice Reed and treat her like a person. It terrifies her. She knows that if there is anyone capable of getting behind her mask, it's him.
