Slipping Away by Morgan Nedland If you saw me would you know that i was slipping away? would you notice the darkness in my soul behind the fake smile? would you see the pain in my eyes? can you hear my dark thoughts from behind the music? can you see the real me? can you see who i really am? do you notice the depression taking me over? can you see the sadness in my heart? do you see the emptiness in my soul? if i showed you the real me would you understand? would you still love me if you knew? would you still care like you used to? would you still love me the way you used to? how will you act if you did know? would i seem selfish if your eyes? if you saw me would you know that i was slipping away?
