Jake Wolff has two winning seasons under his belt and has quickly gained fame over at the local high school and has become even closer with every ally he's ever met. And he absolutely loves it; he calls it home. About to start his third season, Nick's daughter starts to have some medical problems. And that means hospital visits, doctors, and tests, and most important, absent Nick at practices. And when he's there physically... his mind isn't. So, as a way to help Jake while Nick's daughter recuperates, principal Sam Adair hires Luke Windimere, a current college baseball coach and former head coach of South Legion High's baseball team... one of Brennan's biggest rivals. And he still supports them wholeheartedly. Jake is annoyed with everything about Windimere but what happens when he becomes more than just an annoyance? What if... the Brennan baseball team needs to fight for Jake harder than they ever have before?
