Nine year old Adelyn Rae looks like your average rich daughter. Her father is a big shot lawyer for celebrities, and her step mother has a huge fashion line. To everyone on the outside, her life is perfect, but behind closed doors, Adelyn's life is full of abuse. Her father and stepmother have abused her, mentally and physically since she was three. Adelyn finally catches a break when she is sent to live with her half sister, who she didn't know about. Her sister is living in DC with her great-uncle for her job. Adelyn finally thinks that maybe her life is turning around, but she starts to notice a strange behavior change in her sister. Adelyn starts digging deeper into her sister's secrets, but at a cost. Adelyn also struggles to keep her past a secret from her sister. What Adelyn finds completely changes her relationship with everyone she knows. Will Adelyn be able to accept the fact that her life is no longer the same one she knew? Or will Adelyn get destroyed, trying too hard to stay in the past?

If you have all the things everyone wants to have. What would you wish to get? How will you be able to live a life? It is a story about a girl who has it all, the looks, popularity, friends, money, brains, and a loving family. But, if you have everything, would you be contented about it? But, in her point of view, the world is different from everyone. Life is just a crappy game. Why? For her everything and everyone is predictable. Everything can be calculated. But, what if it became undefined. That is something she needs to find out.
