Makoto is a divorced middle aged man with a daughter, Ayano, and a granddaughter, Rin. To cope with his abrupt end in his marriage, he has a garden and chats with the plants and the scarecrow that came with the house when they bought it. Then, one night, his daughter and granddaughter went to a school event on his birthday, so he stayed home and drank a lot as a way to celebrate his birthday. However, in his drunken state, he stumbles into his garden to find a man in there and the scarecrow is missing. Just what was in his drink?

Liz have a crush on a boy name Alen. He's no ordinary boy, he hunts spirits, demons and all those supernatural stuff. Her best friend, Maple, is also his best friend but they seem awfully close making Liz misunderstand. Maple claim that they're friends but Alen's affection toward Maple said otherwise. What is their relationship in the future? Will hearts be broken? People dying? Or friendships ending? What if everything is decided by fate? Maple needs to get things straight, especially when a ghost is warning her.

Gutes Hertz is a normal high school student. He has two very close friends, an overprotective brother, and a hardworking single mother. However, the one thing that he absolutely hates is love. He hates it so much that if he ever got a confession he would sever the ties with that person as quick as possible. So when he started to get a flurry of love letters, he burnt them all without even reading one. However, the situation got worse when he gets a letter that's not a love letter but a threat telling him to read the letters instead of burning them. Just what is going on?
