Vanpires and Daywalkers have been enemy's since... For pretty much ever. And have hated and feared each other for just as long. For as long as anyone can remember, Vasper included, Vanpires have been taught to hate Daywalkers. Taught that they're dangerous and will use their fire gauntlet's to attack Vanpires.
