Story is currently being rethought and rewritten. ==================================== Six years ago, an event known as The "Downfall" caused the fall of humanities last continent after the other continents fell due to the appearance of "Anomalies" and the mysterious "Madness Disease" during the "10 Year War", a war that concluded with the "Downfall" and the end of the last bastion of humanity which was the neutral "Unified Federation" of the "The Western Most Continent." Unhinged takes place in an unnamed alternate world where both civilian and military technology was about at the level of the early-cold war era and where energy similar to what we call Mana exists called "Bane Energy" or "the Bane," which can be used and sensed and/or seen by people who have an affinity towards it. Interestingly enough, The mutants and anomalies that came about after the 2nd year of the "10-year war" - the precursor event before the "Downfall" - became weaker overtime till they were just stronger than humans as opposed to the monstrous menace they had been during the "Downfall" in which the federation defensive lines were overrun due to the overwhelming strength of the mutants and anomalies, the anomalies stopped getting weaker on the 1st year after The "Downfall" while the mutants on the 3rd. Author's Note: Please bear in mind that this is my first time writing something of this degree and that I'm a total novice merely going off how to write based on the books I read. I hope you bear any grammar, writing, or composition issues as I; The author, am still young and very inexperienced. I hope you, at the very least, enjoy the premise of the story of Unhinged. (Please don't make an acronym out of that) 17 years old, son of the COO of DEPB Clothing Company and the stockholder of Riley International University, the university where I study. I'm a part time model, Math and Science club president and our university's middle school basketball captain. I may be a consistent honor student but I really hate the subjects Filipino and TLE. Why? One of the reason is that, I placed three cups of iodized salt in the cake that we were baking instead of putting confectionery sugar. Also, my grades in those subjects are the reason why I became first honorable mention and not the Valedictorian of our batch when I was in elementary and up to now I'm suffering from that. Moving on, I love to dance, but I've never shown my skills in that, maybe I still have a stage fright. When I was in kindergarten, I forced myself to recite the poem, “You're all bright and beautiful” in front of our entire school but I fainted just before reciting the first line. If you're wondering about my looks, I'm 5'8 in height, my eyes are of almond shape and they are of color brown. My teeth was like of a vampire so when I was in third grade, they made me wear these braces, which I want to remove now because it's affecting the way I utter words. I also have a straight hair that still goes back to it's morning look even if I brush it. To summarize it, I'm tall and handsome but not dark, I'm like the boy-next-door. Speaking of the word ”next-door”, I have this girl neighbor that I really like, she's pretty, bubbly, and kind... And also a cute crybaby.
