Red, a nineteen year old hardworking and pessimistic teenager has entered a death game known as "The Game of Shells," an assassin style tournament with the prize of 1 billion dollars, which she plans on spending on her deaf sister and ill mother. After surviving to the next round, the next target assigned to her is a sweet and simple girl, Rebecca. Can Red catch her bounty before the time runs out, or will she become just another casualty in the ever growing death count of "The Game of Shells"

Il y a 7 ans de cela, à l'âge de 52 ans un scientifique de renommée mondiale qui s'appelait Stokes Marvin avait conçu une formule chimique d'une bombe nucléaire révolutionnaire au quelle il avait donné le nom de ''WinBomb''. Celle - ci avait un périmètre de 600 kilomètres carrés lorsque le mécanisme qui permet de mélanger toutes les substances, est déclenché. Il consacra toutes sa vie et sa passion à la découverte de cette expérience, qui est actuellement du moins, sources de conflits internationaux . Après de longue années d'épuisement et d'inventions, le cancer l'emporta avec lui à l'âge de 59 ans. Le scientifique étant une personne prévoyante, avait pris soin de très bien dissimulé ses recherches et sa trouvaille de toutes personnes en qui il n'avait pas aucunes confiances. Un beau jour, un jeune homme étudiant dans la FAC de Manchester, s'appelant Micheal avait eu la fâcheuse idée de faire une petite expérience en plein cours en mélangeant du C12H22O11 et du KNO3 créant ainsi une réaction en chaîne de fumée violet qui s'émergea dans tout le bâtiment scolaire. Après cette incident, Micheal écopa d'une sanction, le menant à faire des recherches sur un thème quelconque en science. Dès lors, étant arrivé à la bibliothèque de sa FAC, il commença à décortiquer les premiers livres qu'il voyait sur les étagères, jusqu'à ce qu'il tomba sur un livre intitulé '' Nylons and Bombs ''. Dès l'ouverture du livre, sa vie aller radicalement changer....
