John Campbell is a middle-aged jazz DJ, while Victoria Stone does likewise, but spins classical instead. Each work for separate radio stations, but both under the same parent media partners. They enjoy one another's on-air programs, but only really interact together annually at company holiday festivities. On one such occasion, they are selected as MC hosts of the corporate Christmas party. They're such a hit as a duo, they're chosen to audition for a radio theater project the company wants to participate in. They land the role, but once they go live with it, strange things begin to happen. Namely, a literal transference of John & Victoria from their present day in the 1980s - to the 1950s setting of the radio theater story - the Korean War! When they leave the recording studio that day, they find themselves IN THE 50s, 30 years YOUNGER, and matching the youthful richness of their on-air VOICES! After a time, they find themselves as witnesses - to the first use of atomic weaponry since 1945 - there, IN Korea!

After the nuclear end of World War III, humanity clawed its way out of ash, radiation, and collapse to forge six brutal new powers across the ruins of the Americas: the neutral but feared Twisted Hairs, the iron-fisted Enclave, the techno-militant Brotherhood of Steel, the humanitarian Followers of Doss, the hard-blooded Texan Republic, and the ocean-dominating United Pacific Commonwealth. Together, they survived war, rebuilt nations, tamed Deathclaws, purified poisoned waters, and carved order out of a dead world.

In the struggle for existence, civilizations do not end with screams, but with a silence that ushers in an era where there is no place for the weak. When intelligence reaches its peak, the final decision becomes clear: who deserves to remain, and who must be erased. And in the shadows of the deep oceans, eyes watched the moment of reckoning, where one sun faded, and another was born in a world never meant for mankind.

On January 13th, 2018, the United States went into a panic as a nuclear bomb alert was sent to all the cell phones, all the news stations, all the radios, and all the landlines. Of course, the alert was a false alarm. People didn't know what to do. What if it wasn't fake? ---------------------------- Lincoln Davies is an 18-year-old from Southern California. His life is normal. He has two loving parents, a girlfriend, good grades in high school, and a well-paying job. He's even been accepted into the college of his dreams. But, what will a nuclear missile do to his plans? Will he ever see his family again? Will he ever hold his lover?

An alternate history of the Iraq and Afghanistan war where the main character stumbles upon a nuclear weapons cache and events trigger that lead to the unraveling of the American political system as we know it. The enemy is a group of military generals, conspiring to secure command and control of our country. This contains heavy usage of military terminology and as I wrote it when I was in Iraq in 2008, it now has to be "alternate" history, instead of "futuristic". I did not change anything that deals with events since 2008-9. I also make awesome cover pictures!

The book examines how individuals and countries would react to the loss of most of the World's computers due to a massive electro-magnetic pulse (EMP) from the Sun. Without computers to operate them, all modern cars, trucks and trains would stop operating and the entire electric grid would fail. The world would immediately move from a post-industrial society to an early industrial society without the simpler infrastructure to allow survival. Within a week, cities and towns would have no food and no easy way to get food. Chaos would reign and society would be based on the survival of the fittest where fittest would usually mean the most ruthless. Each chapter is self-contained and looks at the experiences of individuals and public agencies all over the world Although this book is classed as "Science Fiction" it is more accurately a work of "speculative fiction since a nuclear war, which is always possible, would have much the same effect. The first part of the book is presented here. The remaining parts will be presented subsequently

Earth, year 2182. We were never alone as the superior species on this planet. Hell, we were never the superior species on Earth. We were sorely mistaken. It was them. The Remnants. A disease, an organism, that genetically changes any non-human DNA into something primal. Destructive. Virtually immortal. Hidden in ancient tombs, burial sites, and vaults. And they appeared as the world was ripping itself apart in a war that eclipsed the devastation of the world wars by nearly a billion deaths. Russia fell first. The US and European Union held out longest. They came. We saw. They conquered. The only successful weapon found against them is Flux, a power source used to generate weapons, armor, and equipment to destroy the Remnants. Which we humans used to kill each other first. Humans have retreated to their last strongholds. Humanity will rise. Blood will be spilt. This is the challenge of survival of the fittest. "For this is the law of the jungle, As old and true as the sky... And the wolf that breaks it will die." - Rudyard Kipling

Dust seeped into my lungs with each breath I took as I hobbled through the scattered debris, narrowly dodging a jagged metal pole sticking out of what was once a large building. I raised my hand to my mouth, now chapped from the arid climate, to prevent any further damage to my suffering airways. My hands were shrivelled and my feet were begging to have the pressure taken off of them from walking on such jagged terrain. Hesitantly, I lowered myself onto a large rock, being careful not to catch any of my bare skin on the sharp rubble. That's when I heard a single voice...
