John Campbell is a middle-aged jazz DJ, while Victoria Stone does likewise, but spins classical instead. Each work for separate radio stations, but both under the same parent media partners. They enjoy one another's on-air programs, but only really interact together annually at company holiday festivities. On one such occasion, they are selected as MC hosts of the corporate Christmas party. They're such a hit as a duo, they're chosen to audition for a radio theater project the company wants to participate in. They land the role, but once they go live with it, strange things begin to happen. Namely, a literal transference of John & Victoria from their present day in the 1980s - to the 1950s setting of the radio theater story! When they leave the recording studio that day, they find themselves IN THE 50s, 30 years YOUNGER, and matching the youthful richness of their on-air VOICES!

If you have laid your hands on this journal, it's most likely that you too share a similar story as me - fighting for your survival. But, just in case the world has changed, let me tell you everything from the beginning. A horrible war left the world in ruins. Entire cities were bombarded. My city was one of them. It might have been a flourishing city full of happiness once but it's just a jungle now, giving shelter to a few surviving animals who now fight each other for food and stuff. And by animals, I mean humans. But I dared to fight for a better life. My only hope was to unite the survivors and search for a fabled place that seemed too good to even exist - the earth's last civilization. However, the search for it brings us to uncharted lands lurking with unknown dangers. And every time I try to feel confident about myself, I remember my father's dying words - "I want you to kill yourself"

The blinding flash came first, so intense that it blinded even through closed eyes. The deafening thunder followed very shortly after, as the burning light began to subside. The cloud appeared as a silhouette at first against the whiteout, but as the sky returned to normal colour the iconic mushroom could be seen rising into the sky. The heat wave was the first to unleash its deadly power, burning hotter than the sun everything in its path incinerated instantly. Everything from stone to the air itself vaporised in an instant for miles around the blast. Then came the shock wave to finish where the heat wave left off, levelling everything in its path. Everything above ground level ripped from it place and blown to pieces as if it was nothing more than paper. All life for miles around the cloud simply erased from existence, as if it was never there at all. Gone. Gone in only few minutes.

A nuclear war has destroyed the entire world, leaving it to dust and ashes. Some people managed to survive, affected by some of the radiation left behind that could not be prevented. Luckily, "gifted" human beings were born from mothers who were affected by some of the radiation. They have starry eyes that can see far into the skies, beyond the naked eye or the highest-powered telescope. They have different minds, strange, unusual, but amazing abilities. Yet, they are still human and have both the same intentions, ambitions, personalities, and such. Unfortunately, the president of the remaining humans does not agree with these starry-eyed humans. He wishes they were all dead, in fear of them growing strong and taking over. So, he is attempting to get rid of them by capturing them, captivating them, beating them and making them weak, and finally killing them off, one-by-one. Alexandra, mother of a gifted child, is doing all she can to keep her daughter safe from the cruel punishment that President Caffey is attempting to blow.

[Love won't stop this bomb.] Edinburgh, 2018. War has broken out and constant threats of nuclear attacks are forcing people to choose between taking refuge in shelters and living the rest of their days underground, or staying in the streets, free but in living in fear for their lives. Natalie is one of the few who chooses to stay. However, Edinburgh is no longer the city it once was. Now, gangs roam the street, fighting for 'control' over the city. As supplies get scarce, every day becomes a matter of life and death. That, and the bomb looming over their heads. A lot of this story is inspired by MCR's album, Danger days.
