In a world set in 2020 , a nuclear winter has taken place and your set in the mind of a 20 year old survivor named Edwards and his 21 year old fiancé in a nuclear fallout bunker until they can return to the surface of the earth and repopulate the planet from day 0.

Vault 97 was originally built in Blue Ridge Summit, Pennsylvania as a joint venture between the U.S. Government and VaultTech to be a second, miniature Pentagon outside of D.C. When the bombs dropped, however, VaultTech had other plans. Only 20 residents and 15 staff made it in, only one person made it out, and winter has arrived in full force.

After nuclear fallout starts to settle, the plants start dying. Then, the herbivores sicken, spread diseases, and die. There are a few, unprepared humans left.

If you don't play New Vegas you probably won't get it.

Nuclear war comes in a flash. In hours, every major city is wiped off the face of the planet. Anarchy reins, but the war and the pandemonium are the least of the worries of life on Earth. When ash blocks out the sun, the world freezes over, and the day turns to night, can mankind survive? In a frozen world of anarchy, radioactivity, giant cockroaches, and mass extinction, humanity is pushed to its brink. This is what happened when all the world was dead.

After World War III, animal colonization and humanity's extinction follow a nuclear winter. After 976 years of peace between the animal kingdom, greed infects the only inhabitants of Earth. In the midst of war, some members of the Cane tribe must protect a newfound secret.

Humanity has done it. The year is 2050 and humanity went through serious nuclear conflict leaving only a few privileged ones that had time to escape to Mars (colonized by humanity in 2030) and one protogen trying to survive the brutal nuclear winter on Earth. The world shifted under their very feet as screams painted the silence. The world we knew died under full moons light

We all died more than once. No one escapes a place like that. When we finally realized we were back in our galaxy, besides being physically sick, we were stricken with euphoria. We got lucky. Home was an International Space Station away. Back to the realization that no one we knew, when we left, was even alive, but at least we were back with humans. We thought.

On the borders of North and South Korea, a single shot was fired; a single shot discharged by shaking hands that would change the world forever. Those who survived to tell the tale, agree; that the beginnings of World War III were just like any other. However It devolved into a nasty conflict, ruled by alliances and espionage. First to join the fray was China, then the US, afterwards, it was a downhill spiral until almost every major power on the globe was locked in combat. That all changed when the first of many nuclear missiles were launched, slamming with full force and devastation into the Russian capital of Moscow. No one knew the country that had fired the fateful weapon, but as a result of its impact, everyone's worst fears had come true. A chain reaction had been started, which would inevitably end the world as we know it. Rising from the ashes like a burning Phoenix, was a new world. A world not ruled by the green vegetation so unique to our planet, but a world dominated by ice. Even so, the flame of human resilience was not snuffed out completely-there were still those who would live on stumbling blindly throughout the darkness, hoping to one day see the sunrise again. To witness a day when the critically injured earth would once more become Utopia.

When memories are a curse, even machines can bleed. The Phantom Protocol has been enacted. In a post-apocalyptic world buried in ash, the Phantonians, once human, now machine, wander the ruins searching for meaning, memory, and what remains of their humanity. However, as other robots hunt them down, fractured memories surface, each one revealing that survival is not the only battle. Memory itself may be what destroys them. As some secrets are too human to stay buried.

An unlikely group of teenagers find themselves lost in what has become of their hometown after a brutal world nuclear war that has decimated the population, giving rise to the African Union, Sanchuria, Antarctic Federation and American Republic as the new modern superpowers.
