Turlough 'Tom' MacKenna is a rough country boy, raised by his father on the band scales of rural South Australia. Darragh 'Dan' MacKenna is a sophisticated city boy, raised by his mother in the fast moving city of Melbourne. Unknown to each other except by the contact of a few thrown punches, both are on their way to Papua New Guinea as Australian Choco soldiers. As polar opposites Dan and Tom are sure they would never get along but after being captured by the Japanese, they prove that just like the diggers before them, to save their lives mateship, courage, tenacity and maybe a little humour is going to be the only thing keeping them alive. While lost in a jungle so far from home, the two Irish-Australians will find out a lot more about each other than they thought.

I state with a straight face after pretending to laugh. "I'm serious Jesse, look." He gave me his phone so I could look in the camera and what I saw made me freeze and stare in surprise. I had big purple eyes and my face looked a little different...

Celine was a Fujoshi. Fujoshi is a person who ships men who look very shounen ( manly.) Mainly, its used as a bad word to call girls ' rotting' because men will seriously find you mentally ill if you ship men in front of 'em. Celine was happier than ever, finding out her new school is FULL of shounen boys.... Things were weirder than blue cheese after she shipped two handsome teens. "You killed him," I mutter, looking into those intense eyes. "He fell in," he gritted out through clenched teeth, emphasizing every word as he took a step towards me. I stay rooted to the spot, the lump in my throat increasing by the pounding second that ticked in my ears. The muscle in his jaw twitched, and I could tell that he was getting angrier. He took my silence as a gesture to continue, the distance between us becoming shorter, the warmth of his skin and the intoxicating smell engulfing my senses. "What?" he whispers, craning his neck down so that he could look me in the face. Bringing up his hand, he runs his thumb over my bottom lip, his warm breath fanning the tip of my nose. His lip ring shined intimidatingly as he licked his lips, biting them softly, then releasing, his eyes never leaving his thumb on my bottom lip. They look slightly crazed, and the breath in my throat catches. "You don't believe me?" he asks, his voice low and smooth, as if mockingly calm. I don't say anything, and he chuckles softly, a smirk tilting the corner of his lips up. "You're going to have to wait in line, dollface, 'cause you're not the only person." The night he came back and fucked everything up. WARNING: This story may contain strong language, mild sexual content, and strong interpretations of violence.
