____________________________________ Reyna Rae Williams was a special case. No one knew her, talked to her or interacted with her, of course other than her close friends. But once Aiden Green stepped into her life, everything changed. ____________________________________ "Listen Williams, you mention nothing to anyone about what goes on in our house. You tell one person and I won't hesitate to ruin your life." I stood in shock, my hands go onto my hips and I glare back, "Listen GREEN, if you wanna be a girl on her period, go ahead. But your family matters are something I don't give a flying fuck about. So unless you want me to get involved, then don't mention this shit to again." I turn around to walk away until a hand grabs my shoulder, I turn back around and cross my arms over my chest. I raise an eyebrow at him and he smirks back, "Just don't forget the fact that I will make you mine." Wait what, so he's just gonna try and claim me, right after being a girl on her period?? Oh helll no, I was about to open my mouth to say something, till I realized he chuckled and walked away. "WAIT NO!! I WAS SUPPOSED TO BE THE BAD ASS WALKING AWAY!!!" I scream, he simply sticks up the middle finger, "Too bad for you I guess." He simply replies and walks away. At this point, I'm trying not to smile so hard. But the effects he has on me, is something I can't deny. I eventually let the smile take over and watch as he walks away, turning around I do the same, that is until I realize we live right next to each other and I was going the complete wrong way. "WAIT, NO WAIT FOR MEEEE!!" I scream, running to catch up to him. "Seriously can't believe you forgot that your house is this way, Raeeeeee." His voice rings around in my ears, the way he says my name, basically like a little child pulling the "e". He laughs and we walk home in a comfortable silence. _______________________________ Jesus Christ, if he knew the effect he had on me.

"I am not searching for peace only the version of me that remembers how to breathe." Broken is a collection of thoughts, fragments, and feelings a quiet unraveling of a soul learning to live again. It is not a love story. It's a becoming story. For everyone who has ever been whole, and then wasn't.

A love so pure you are committed guilty. A love so sweet you are left tasteless. They were the heart in your body and when they left, you got split in two. It's okay. It's okay to feel loss, to feel pain, to feel broken, because we are gonna heal together. I hope these poems mend your pain.
