This was unusual only in the fact that none of these women had been pregnant when the day first began. Sir Reginald Hargreeves, eccentric billionaire and adventurer, resolved to locate and adopt as many of the children as possible. He was able to get Seven of them, but what he didn't know was there was an eighth one born who had been abandoned, yet somehow... She managed to survive. Landon Hargreeves is the fraternal twin of Luther Hargreeves. He was a powerful part of the Umbrella Academy until he was 13 when he went missing alongside Five. The fact that she could recall every single detail of her life somewhat scared her and there was something else she could do...something she'd never said to anyone. Born on October 1st 1989, Minerva Smith wishes she was just normal. Her mother had passed away leaving just her and her father. What happens when he disappears? And what the fuck are those powers...?!

Five always knew they were soulmates, even as kids when she was his child crush. But he had never ever imagined to live through an apocalypse with her when she jumped with him through time by accident. The two of them, along with their best friend delores, lived isolated as the last people on earth, had their first kiss when they were seventeen and engaged at the age of twenty, delores being their maid of honor. But their life was hard, so when they got the chance to break out of it, they took it. But beeing an assassin wasn't the right choice for number eight. Killing people and specially getting ordered around wasn't her thing even though traveling through time was absolutely amazing. So, without telling five, she one day stole a suitcase and jumped away, leaving five heartbroken and feeling betrayed behind. And how it is now, eight popped up in front of her sisters taxi, eight days before the end of the world. Call it karma.

It is the year 2023, and Five was able to save his siblings-Luther, Diego, Allison, Klaus, and Vanya-and teleport them to the future, and not be destroyed and killed by the bomb. The Hargreeves have been in 2023 for three days, and Vanya has not woken up. They must help her to control her powers, and not destroy or hurt anybody else in the process. Five has been able to time travel before, but never has taken anybody with him before, and so this was a miracle that he was able to have everyone come back safely. And although Vanya hasn't woken up yet, at least everyone else has, and is in a healthy state. And although they are all back safely, Diego remembers Pogo saying something to him a few days before he was killed: "There is another number, Number Eight. Find her, and she will be able to help you. I promise. She knows all of your father's secrets, and will be able to share his stories since I am not going to be able to be here much longer." Diego did not know what it meant at the time, nor does he understand now, but he knows he must find their sister, Number Eight.
