Of the 43 children that were born to unsuspecting mothers on the first of October, 1989, twenty of them lived ordinary lives. Seven died in infancy. A further five died before their sixteenth birthday. Three were killed, for faults that were not their own. The remaining eight children were adopted into the care of Sir Reginald Hargreeves, where he trained them to be crime-fighting pre-teen superheroes. But tragedy struck the family in their teens, and the remaining six drifted apart, avoiding contact with each other where they could help it. And Alec Hargreeves never expected to be back in his childhood home, especially not holding his brothers apart at his father's funeral, but nothing ever went the way he expected it to.

As if that's not weird enough, the kids born on that day have some peculiar abilities that would make you want to buy them and turn them into superheroes while giving them horrible childhood that will traumatize them forever. Well, that's what Reginald Hargreeves exactly did and (Name) is fortunate but mostly unlucky that she's one of the adopted children. The Umbrella Academy and PJO/HOO crossover Sally Jackson was one of the 43 women that give birth on October 1st, 1989. The unusual thing about all this births was that neither one of the them was pregnant went the day first began Poseidon, Earthshaker, Stormbringer, Father of Horses, God of the Seas, fell in love with the one and only Sally Jackson and he was there when it all happened. He knew he needed to leave, so, to prove his love, he blessed the child. Said child was a little girl that her mother had named Persia. Sir Reginald Hargreeves was curious about the events of that day so he adopted all the children he could get. Left at age 17. Number Five: Can jump through space and time. Went missing along with Number Zero in the year 2002. Number Six: Can summon a tentacle demon through a portal in his stomach. Deceased. Number Seven: Can turn sound into energy. Can take the life force from others. Is not aware of these facts. Left at age 17. Their father is dead. It's time for a family reunion.
