Blue Cooper no tiene un sinónimo, una etiqueta, una vida perfecta, padres perfectos, un novio ni mucho menos una hermana alegre y amorosa. Blue Cooper es sencilla, una chica que no se maquilla ni para ir a fiestas. Es hermosa, pero es demasiado ingenua y reservada como para que se fijen en ella. En su vida siempre intenta no llamar la atención, ser callada y tratar de nunca opacar a Tracy. Tracy Cooper es la hermana de Blue, y ella es todo lo opuesto a Blue. Le encanta llamar la atención, le encanta vestirse y maquillaje a la moda, le encanta ligarse a los más guapos y lo que más le encanta es opacar a Blue. Blue vive en una burbuja de pesadilla, solo tiene una amiga, su hermana la odia y la opaca siempre, su madre prefiere siempre a Tracy, su padre siempre se va de viaje, y por eso Blue Cooper es como es. Pero entonces Dexter Brickman, el chico sonriente que la salva de una humillación, apuesto y musculoso, popular y divertido, se cola en la vida de Blue, ayudándola en sus miedos y sus actitudes, su inseguridad y a quererse. Y también, la ayuda a conocer aquel lado salvaje que se moría por salir en sus interiores, y le enseña el amor. Pero ¿Tracy lo aceptará?
