This is a narrative-version of what happened in my USUM randomizer Nuzlocke, since I don't find enough of those. I'll put the basic rules and stuff in the first chapter, so we'll see what happens I guess. From when I'm writing this, I haven't even started the Nuzlocke. I do not own Pokemon, nor did I create the concept of a Nuzlocke. But all art in this story was made by me. And I'll probably add more art to some parts after I've already posted the chapters.

(#1 in nuzlocke #8 in saltydkdan [holy shit guys wtf-]) This is the written account of the first season of the Saltydkdan Friendlocke, with my own personal twist on the characters and plot (hence why it's called the Netflix Adaptation). I will be using the anime as my source (as much as I would LOVE to use the manga, I don't have the attention span), and there WILL be spoilers for Season 1. It's back boys and girls

Chip doesn't care much for Pokémon. He's perfectly happy working on the family flower farm on the outskirts of Twinleaf Town. But when a strange portal opens up and a mysterious, sinister Pokémon pulls his little brother into another dimension, Chip is determind to do whatever it takes to bring his brother home. Even if that means becoming a Pokémon trainer himself.

Maybe I won't lose in the first gym his time

Seth is just an ordinary teenager which is starting his Pokémon journey through the Deltan region, but when he was a child, he got attacked by three wild Pokémon, but was saved by a different wild Pokémon, a small but powerful Pokémon which left behind a piece of grey fabric behind. To this day, he wants to find out where this Pokémon is, capture it and become best friends with it. However, this quest will not be as easy as he thinks. -Pokémon is owned by Nintendo- (Correct me if I am wrong)

The ancient Titans of Yamato awaken, plunging the land back into an era of flames, blood and chaos. Humans and Pokemon alike succumb to an affliction known as Primal Madness, turning them into killing machines. At the heart of it all is the most powerful Trainer, Red Hearthfire, who vows to put an end to the fighting but may have started it in the first place... To remotely understand the chaos the land descended into and the results Hearthfire reaped, the story must instead begin 10 years prior to the climactic battle to end the fighting, when Red was 18-years-old, orphaned in the small town of Pallet, simmering in quiet anger, ruminating in ambition, and determined to prove himself. Red sets out to fight his way into becoming the Champion of Kanto, using his newfound strength to force out answers about his past. What he discovers haunts him: a shadowy organization influencing Yamato from behind the curtain, voices telling him he's fated for something different, and a dangerous threat Red's own parents may have helped create. Torn between being the all-powerful tyrant he's dreamed of and protecting the land he's grown up in, Red must draw his line in the sand and lead a team of stalwart Pokemon to victory or death in this re-imagining of classic Pokemon lore.

This is set in the game universe of Pokemon, with a few twists, people can understand Pokemon, IRL animals aka "natural animals" are also around, and some of them have a few special abilities. Rachel is a happy-go lucky kid with a natural cat named Katie, who can be a bit sassy and grumpy. They both go on an adventure with some new friends, both human and Pokemon. Trouble is stirring in the region of Kalos, their Pokemon and friends get mixed up, people are hurt, (and this is set in a nuzlocke so someone might die), and the most important question of all. What exactly is Team Flare doing?! Well that and where is Rachel and Katie's home region.
