"Herd before heart." That's what they teach us. To be loyal, and brave, quick, and clever. Quinn's herd is like no other, with strict rules and tight ranks- there is no place for failure. Or that's at least what they teach. After years of perfecting himself, Quinn is assigned to be station gaurd, and is put on a remote post. Little does he know, his whole herd is being murdered in cold blood by the neighboring humans. And he must find a way to either trust his instincts, and help his herd, or turn tail and run.
