After the Absolute End war on Copper 9 ends, Thad climbs down into a deep pit to rescue J, who has been thrown down and left unconscious. Even though she once tried to kill him and was his enemy, he pulls her up and brings her back to the bunker. The story continues in the post-war period, as the two of them slowly learn how to live together in a way that J can accept.

K has spent months feeling like he doesn't belong anywhere - maybe cos he got all the bad genes as opposed to his sister, Doll (Not that Doll. That one's dead. This one's a teenager). After years of feeling like an afterthought, K comes to a conclusion: Maybe the best thing he can do for his family is leave. With only his best friend Voilet willing (and unfortunately enthusiastic) enough to help him, what starts as one impulsive decision quickly turns into a fucking disaster that will leave two families scrambling by morning. And Doll is handling her own problems and emotional damage in her own way. That's all for K to find out, anyway. A murder drones post-canon, content warning btw, there's swearing in this, but I guess not a lot. I might rewrite the first few chapters cos I find them a bit cringe now.

In this version of the story, the bunker was never built; consequently, the Worker Drones had to fend for themselves against the Murder Drones. Following his wife's death at the hands of the Murder Drones, Khan decided to fight back rather than hide. Led by Khan, the Worker Drones seized human weaponry to use against the Murder Drones. Over time, the Murder Drones evolved into silent killers-ghost-like figures lurking in the shadows. Khan took over a ruined human city, and the Worker Drones settled in and rebuilt urban areas to live in; more cities were subsequently raised by the now-defensive Worker Drones. However, the Murder Drones remain a formidable threat, so the Worker Drones live in a state of "phantom freedom," never knowing when it might all come to an end. Note: Story events will be altered, though there will be some similarities to-or even fully canon-chapters. Additional Murder Drone squads will also be introduced; since the pilot episode shows multiple landing pods (three in total) arriving at Copper 9, it stands to reason there are more Murder Drones. Original Characters (OCs) will be included to expand the story; some will be mine, while others will belong to others. Naturally, the "NuZi" ship-the canon pairing-will be present, though it will unfold differently.

A few years ago, JC Jensen came across a break through as they created the Absolute Solver. A serum that was injected into every civilian to ensure their safety and health; however, due to unknown causes, the serum had a few side effects for a few individuals. In a few special cases, some individuals blood turned gold causing them to turn into angelic-like beings that feed on blood. These individuals are called angels because of their striking metallic silver wings. However everything has a draw back, as a few less processed and more raw forms of the serum were leaked. This led to the creations of the angels counterparts, also known as "fallen angels" or more famously "demons". Instead of their blood turning gold, it turns black. Like angels, they grow wings; however their wings resemble a bat-like appearance. They too feed on blood, however are extremely discriminated against due to their dangerous nature. So in response to ensure civilian safety, JC Jensen sent out a wave of angels to kill these defects, causing most of them to flee and hide. However as a new wave of attacks in Heaven City arises, things aren't as they seem as the truth behind the serum slowly unravels.

It's a Murder Drones D&D au. Plot Synopsis: When the warlock Doll makes a deal with an entity known as the Absolute Solver, she threatens the kingdom of Copper. A ragtag group consisting of a Rogue, a Bard, an Artificer, a Paladin, a Mage, a Fighter, and a Ranger must rise up to stop her.
