What happens when a young girl is taken in by Wu and cared for as if she were his very own? At the age of 14, years after being taken to the Monastery of Spinjitzu, when life now has routine, what happens when suddenly there is need for more than her? Y/n's life gets turned upside down (again) when Wu begins to gather the holders of the Golden Weapons. Y/n has been so used to just her and Wu, and she was happy with everything being like that. But now there is a mission that she is accompanying four boys to, and now she has a power that Wu never told her about. Things will never go back to normal. She has to adapt to life now that there are four teen boys as her so-called teammates. But, eventually, things start becoming normal. This starts to become her life, and she begins to grow on her newfound teammates/maybe-friends. Until things start to change. Again. Dreams, dreams, dreams. Endless, sleepless nights full of disturbing dreams, supposedly caused by her Element. She has just begun to slowly navigate friendships, and yet fate and destiny seem to be teaming up against her. It's nowhere near the same as it was before... but as the new people grow on her, she does suppose it's not that bad. ~~☆~~ Yellow sparks swirl around me as I speed to the boys' tornados. Not much had been the same since Harumi, the Princess of Ninjago, had attacked. Lord Garmadon, who was thought to be dead, had returned. The Ninja were missing for moths. All hope seemed to be lost. However, just as they had before, the ninja had saved Ninjago. And, just as they had done before, the people of Ninjago adapted, rebuilt, and got on with life. With the sad passing of the Emperor and Empress, and less sad passing of the princess, the politicians of Ninjago City decided the city needed a royal family. Enter Y/N Suzuki, a student at the only private Ninjago High School, all because of her royal lineage. Not popular, but everyone knew her. A nerd. She loved comic books and reading and video games and old movies. If you needed help studying, then she was your girl. Nobody hated her. At least, until she became the princess of all of Ninjago. That was right, her parents are the ones chosen as the new Emperor and Empress of Ninjago. Her reputation with everyone besides her closest three friends? Ruined. Everyone suddenly hates her. She's getting threats. All because of her cousin, who she wasn't even biologically related to! The only good thing about becoming the princess? She got to meet her heroes. The infamous Ninja of Ninjago. A dream come true, right? Well..not exactly. Most of them were amazing with her. Treating her like the princess she now was, and protecting her when necessary. But one? Her father and his counsel has ordered that Mina and the rest of the ninja's first born daughters are sent to the past to further help what is currently being faced as a threat to the merged realms in the future. Maybe walkie talkies but no, I choose letters :) You will see why It still might be cringe, I am so sorry and will be in 3rd person, I might switch between pov from time to time and oh again, I think im just gonna leave (Y/n) as a girl this time, last time I had to write and change the dialogue (I was using a school chromobook to write it and write it down on my phone since it won't let me copy and paste 😭😭😭 As much I would love to put some representation but I don't know how to do it without being cringe and not a lot of experience of being nonbinary and only people's experience doesn't make me feel right about it.
