There were no clues on the case, they took her while Angela was away on a case and the babysitter had fallen asleep, the officer didn't blame her, taking care of a new born wasn't an easy job. It would have been unfair to blame a sixteen year old girl for what happened. That's when her baby was taken, it was Angela's fault... She was Amelia's mother, she was supposed to protect her, to be there for her and take care of her baby and she had put her job first and that's why her kid was taken. If she had been there, Amelia would still be with her, she would've the opportunity to raise her, love her and see her grow up. She had been selfish and this was her punishment.
