They are merfolk, Lance is the youngest of three and the prince of the sea, while Pidge and Hunk are normal. One day when he was a guppy he met and fell for someone. A song. A goodbye song. A happy song sung at a sad time. The song Krolia sang to her son the night she left him with his father. And now, eighteen years later, this son hates her. She does the most logical thing she can think of. She sings.

Teenage Lance McClain was educated in Cuba by his scientist parents. Lance is a popular football player. Practically the schools golden boy. His friends Hunk and Pidge add to it. They all get A's. Hunk is sweet and everybody loves him. Pidge is brilliant and people are afraid of her. Then Lance is the flirt. Attractive and all the girls love him. Then we have Shiro. Keith's older brother who used to go to Altea High. He used to play football and wants Keith to at least go to a few games so he can go too. He's engaged to Allura. A woman who helps out around the school. Keith is a loner. He's also a badass. He's not afraid to talk back to teachers and he has punched one of them. He repeatedly says it wasn't an accident but Shiro tells everyone it was. Shiro is repeatedly saving Keith from being kicked out of school and Allura usually has to help Keith with his wounds from fights inside and outside of school. People are usually scared of him and decide not to mess with him. That is until one stupidly handsome and annoyingly perfect golden boy comes into play.

Lance, Adam, Veronica and Layla was siblings. Adam and Veronica runaway from they home because they father doesn't approved about they sexuality. Lance and Layla's life been destroy after they mother and another siblings member died in car crash. They father abuse them until they were age 10 years old, been safe by they Aunt Silvia. They father was in jail and they growing up with they cousin Nadia Rizavi and her friends. They got in to the Garrison without Adam and Veronica know for 3 years.

From the title it's obvious that this was written out of inspiration of the Klance animatic, My Smile is Extinct by Lsellva on YouTube. - "Keith?," Lance's voice snapped him out of his trance," Talk to me, please." Talk. What more was there too say, people had warned him of Lance. So many had told him that he was a Playboy moving from person to person as he found the next new thing, Keith was naive he had dismissed them simply labeling them as jealous, now he sees that they were right. He knew Lance was capable of many things he was confident and strong but he never thought he would do this. "What do you want me to say Lance?" Laces eyes shooting up to meet Keith's, both on the verge of completely breaking down.

Lance leaves the paladins one night due to a voice constantly whispering at the back of his mind, but he also leaves because of how he feels. It takes him to a nearby planet, Rolillon, where he meets Kolivan and joins the Blade of Marmora. He learns that the Blade protects the White Lion, the strongest and most powerful of all Lions. His lion. The next day he goes with Krolia to another planet to retrieve the lion with two Rebel fighters. Hawk, Olia and two familiar faces. Olia seems nervous around him as if he's an enemy whereas Hawk is completely smitten with the new White Paladin. Lance knows he's in deep shit when those Galra cruisers show up, but he's ready for the adventure of a lifetime. (Not great at summaries)
