Nyssa, like her kind, see no heroism in Markestein's actions. She understands that he isn't who he says he is - that he's a murderer. So what, if her parents were exposed to radiation? So what, if that caused a sub species of Ardents to be created? So what, if they were different and had inhumane abilities? So what? Nyssa carries a vendetta for revenge with her every step.
