Young Arulla Durin is snatched away from her home in Erebor when she was only 20 years old(Which is like 9 or 10 in dwarrow years) 70 years later, her friend Gandalf comes to her new home in Rivendell where she has stayed these past 70 years and asks her to accompany him on a quest to reclaim Erebor. When she asks him who else will accompany them he simply says that a reunion will be in order if she comes. Will she keep her identity a secret from those she loves or will she refuse to go, since Erebor brings back painful memories that her father, the young prince of Erebor, died in the fire storm? He's your brother, after all." "I figure you are perfectly capable of killing him yourself. And if you do have to, I'm sure he probably deserves it." A young princess was orphaned after her parents were brutally murdered, and for years, she exchanged her pain with anger and hatred towards the killer. She became a Ranger and traveled the lands of Middle Earth in search of revenge, but what she got instead was a quest to reclaim a homeland stolen by a dragon, some new friends, and a few major injuries. But it was all worth it, in the end.

After the company has won the mountain, they must do all they can to defend it from those seeking to claim it as their own. While the dwarves of Erebor are willing to do all they can for their king, Thorin's mind is placed elsewhere. The arkenstone is still missing and it's effects on the newly-named dwarven king is not going unnoticed. A story about Aria, a warrior from Erebor who was in love with Thorin before smaug and her travels with the company P.S. It has a better ending than the books and movies, I swear!!!

This is my first story. Just thought I would give it a go. Based it on the Lord of the Rings/Hobbit as I am interested greatly in this genre. But yes, I will try to update when I can. :)

Sarah, daughter of Thranduil, the great elven king. She lived a great life in Mirkwood. But there was something strange, if Sarah was the daughter of Thranduil, then why she had dark hair and light brown eyes? And her father the opposite? Then one day there dwarves coming in Mirkwood. There are with 13 Dwarves. But why is the voice of one of the dwarfs so save and warm? She followed the dwarves and goes with them on there quest. But she falls in love with a dwarf. But is that such a good idea?

Why is Thorin so cold when it comes to almost anything? Is it for losing his grandfather or his father? Maybe it goes a bit deeper and farther back than that.

It is a little known fact that Thorin had come to dislike the race of elves; but perhaps it hasn't always been this way, maybe, just maybe, once upon a time there wasn't such high disdain held towards them. The dwarf-Prince's heart isn't as nearly as impenetrable as the vaults of Erebor, a chance find and visit cause a form to grow between two races. If anything the elf-Princess's curiosity about everything, and anything which involved or was created by the hand of dwarf's in turn piques his own curiosity, not finding how something so delicate could find fondness in things so hardened. Regardless, a love formed, two pieces complete only to split thanks to a dragon's attack of the jealousy of what Erebor had within.

Rhûn survived in a world full of monsters along with her brother. It was only the two of them the whole time untill the time came where death caught up with them. After an accident Rhûn found herself in a completly new world which represented the opposite of her previous home. But what will she do? Will she be able to accept the fact that she has to fight for her new found life and adapt herself to this? Or will she give up and welcome the death with open arms? And how will the company of Thorin Oakenshield have influence on that matter? Can they give her a reason to live for? What will be the end of her story? Fight or die, Rhûn has to make the most important decision in her life....

Sequel to The Journey(A fanfic). (Desolation of Smaug fanfic. Please watch the movie first, for there are many SPOILERS.) Bre and company were saved by the Great Eagles. However, the Wargs are still after them. Their journey is now of pick and choose life-making decisions. However, it's not such a fast fate when it comes to romance. Bre still questions Thorin, as he does she, about Rivendell. A big piece of the puzzle just doesn't make sense yet. How can he fancy her but not trust her? And what of the other three Dwarves that fancy Bre? Bofur understands the whole situation, but do Fili and Kili? With Kili's obvious flirting, he probably doesn't care. Romance aside, one last, fate-deciding question stands: Is there a way for Bre to ever get back home? And if there is, will she take it?

Everything happened so quickly: from the first time they met, the quest, the dragon, and now the sickness. Anne didn't want him to fall; she wouldn't let him fall. She swore to herself that she would do everything in her power to keep him from succumbing to the Dragon Sickness like Thror. But can she save him, or will they both fall by war and ruin? Arietta is Gandalf's apprentice. When she is forced to go on the journey to Mount Doom in Mordor, she sees things that she's never seen before. She discovers her true power and starts falling in love with a certain elf, all the while she is helping Frodo get the ring to Mordor. (Finished March 2013)

We know from JRR Tolkien's The Hobbit, that the Dwarves of Durin go on a quest to reclaim their Erebor homeland. But before they uproot their lives--yet again--this short story explores one possible scenario for Thorin Oakenshield's pre-quest life. The question remains, will he leave his new life to go on a quest, or not?
