The mighty Mexicas believed that the rising of the sun depended on human sacrifice. Bodies drained of their blood and beating hearts ripped through flesh would feed the Gods. Through human sacrifice, the world would be saved and life would continue. Nothing is capable of cheating time or death, or so it is believed. The Gods held a deep secret that would allow them immortality so long as they drank from mortals, Love. The Gods knew that mortals were vessels of such miracle and power, they craved it. They thirsted for it. The Gods must have known one day the blood would stop flowing and all that would remain would be the bones of their memory. But, the Gods are too clever to be forgotten, they knew the day would come and they prepared for it. The Gods do not give up easily nor would they allow their memory to fade.

Hola a todos, les cuento lo que viví hace poco en Oaxaca, en el árbol con el tronco más grande del mundo llamado el árbol del tule, ya que llegué de regreso hace 2 meses. Estuve desde el 18 de diciembre hasta el 10 de febrero. Clima: El clima en la ciudad es bastante regular, hay veces que hay mucho frio o incluso hay otros días que está el sol a todo lo que da, las temperaturas nunca superaron los 35 grados y las mínimas se mantuvieron en 10 hasta 15 grados. Casi todos los días cae algo de lluvia más que nada por las noches, los vientos son frescos y no hay mucho calor. Es ideal llevar algún protector solar porque el sol quema muy duro. Vestimenta: La mayoría de las personas siempre trae un suéter por lo mismo que no se sabe cuando va a llover o cuando está muy duro el sol o hace mucho frio, yo en este caso me llevé un short, una playera, unos tenis y una chamarra para cubrirme porque me tocó ese día un fresco, también recomendaría llevar algunas gafas o lentes de sol para cubrirse bien eso nunca está de más. Vivienda: Yo me había estado quedando en una casa de una tía prima de mi mamá, pero si no cuentas con familiares de este lado no hay problema porque incluso hay personas que vienen directamente a ver el árbol del tule y las dejan acampar ahí, si bien no quieres pasar la noche en tu casa de acampar, también puedes rentar en una casa cerca de por ahí, las rentas de las casas no son caras. Precios: Los precios varían en caso de rentar alguna casa amueblada y con muchas más cosas incluidas, van rondando entre los 2500 a 3000 pesos mensuales, ojo aquí porque si te quedas en una casa de acampar (no te cobran).

A year ago I enjoyed one of the most excited trip in my life. My family an I went to Oaxaca , southeast Mexico. Oaxaca is a well-known touristic region in Mexico, not only because its natural beauties, like mountains, valleys and beaches, but also because its culture, It still has much of Mexicans native people, people who has lived there hundred years ago before the first Europeans came to America, besides Spanish, which is the official language spoken in Mexico, there are like thirty different languages that people speaks there which is really fascinating for me. They still keep theirs ancient traditions alive which made me feel like going back in time, hundred years ago. Also the food is amazing, for most Mexicans Oaxaca Food is most delicious Mexican food, and I think so, I was able to enjoy very traditional meals made them from scratch, health and delicious food. After a week we had spent traveling among different places, We decided to stay a hotel next to the beach
