On the last day of school, May 28th, 1976, 13-year-old Tommy Floyd, the younger brother of Randall "Pink" Floyd, is gearing up for his freshman year at Robert Lee High School in Texas. But before he can officially become a high schooler, he has to survive the school's brutal hazing tradition, which starts on the last day of school and lasts all summer. Tommy's initiation includes getting his backside paddled by the soon-to-be seniors Benny O'Donnell, Don Dawson, Melvin, and the notorious Fred O'Bannion. Unlike his brother Randall, who refuses to take part in the hazing, Tommy finds himself unexpectedly bonding with the older boys. With a crush on a sophomore and newfound freedom, Tommy dives headfirst into a summer that's full of mischief and adventures by exploring places like the Moon Tower and the emporium, realizing that high school is going to be far more than he ever expected. This story will take place in 1976. This book is inspired by the movie Dazed and Confused. I DO NOT own any of the characters from Dazed and Confused, this is just for fun and yes as I said this story is based off the movie. A group of lifelong friends are at the end of their junior year and are about to become seniors. They love to smoke weed and to hang out together. On the last day of school, there's a new student. Shes also gonna be a senior and one of the guys from the gang will become friends with her and introduce her to the gang. Let's see what the future has for this gang and their new friend. • Welcome to August 1976 • Summer is winding down as Cherie, a soon-to-be senior at Robert E. Lee High School, has just moved in from another town to live with her aunt. How will things unfold as Cherie adjusts to a new place full of new people? This was intended to originally be a Slater story, but after a lot of indecisiveness I've settled on splitting it into two parts.
