Young Nuala Moore is sucked into a world of fantasy and fairy tales. She has bigger problems than trying to outsmart the faeries who hate her for being a half-human princess. She has to learn to accept the fact that she cant ever return to the life she used to have. She has a duty to protect the fey and her new home.

When Nyxnie had to pick between her parents when she was really young, she picked her mother and the king (her father) swore on his kingdom that if she stepped out of Mabs (winter queen) protection that she will die. Little did Oberon (summer king) know that when Nynxie got older, stronger, and grew into a woman. Her mother sent her away to live in the human world so Oberon would never hurt her. When the day came that Nynxie's mother sent for her to come back to the winter kingdom she was conflicted because Mab had said that something really wrong has gone wrong in the fey world and they need all the power they can get, if there is a war to come with the kingdoms.
