Jason is the quarterback of the school's American football team, and Jade is an athletic girl who practices karate and is admired by everyone when she arrives at the new school. They are twins. Meanwhile, Amanda and Ronald are both considered nerds. Amanda is an overweight, bullied girl who feels like nothing good will ever happen to her. Ronald is a very skinny, bullied boy who has never had a girl show interest in him and has trouble standing up for himself or his sister. They are also twins. Certain circumstances bring these two sets of siblings together, leading them into new experiences and creating unexpected friendships and relationships.

My "diary" consists of my daily struggles, thoughts, cravings, personal issues, and so much more.

Few topics seem to get under my skin more than bullying - the outright mental torment and/or physical abuse of one or more people for an individual or a group of individuals. It particularly annoys me when the discriminated one is alone, without support, and when this individual is a child or teen and without the maturity to at least be somewhat better equipped to deal with it. Growing up is hard enough; a challenging school atmosphere is hard enough; being alone is hard enough. Combine these three factors with an insidious fourth factor - BULLYING - and you have a kind of hell on earth. This narrative poem is about one such situation, though the characters and the details of the situation are totally ficticious, but of course very real! The main character is nameless, other than to be known as Fatso and Waddler; Fatso because she was certainly overweight and Waddler because she had a large rear and waddled like a penguin bird when she walked. It was these physical attributes, and these alone, that was her classmates' excuse for their abuse - never physical but verbally and emotionally scarring. It even resulted in her being forced to eat alone at school. Imagine, she ate alone; she talked to no one - and all because she was heavy. As the poet, I must say I hold this teen dear to my heart. She was able to endure AND when you read the last two stanzas you will note a maturity and beautiful self-concept about her that I dare say none of her abusers had about themselves.

Max; she's been bullied for a long time now, she never quite got used to it, she doesn't know how long she can put up with this. She could leave, she would finally be happy. Max has pondered the idea many times before, to be 'Happy' but what would happiness cost would she be willing to pay the price and find out? All it would take is one step off the chair, a simple pull of the trigger, a glass of water to wash them down, a jump...Her parents, well mom, wouldn't even notice. She's never home anyway plus she has her little sister to care about, at least when she's sober enough to remember she needs to pick her up from school. Max does have some fun, she has places to be and people to see but those are more along the lines of work and work associates. mainly she worries about school she is a senior after all, this is where it matters. This is her life. That is until she meets Jordan a tomboy like no other, who changes her life, And then she meets Dakota a bad boy who's new to the school and who will not go unnoticed he will definitely leave a mark, forever. Everything is about to change, Max's not so 'alone' anymore.

Biting my lip to keep myself from screaming, I run the sharp knife across my thigh, imagining myself separating the fat from my body. "Why can't you lose this disgusting fat fast enough, you useless piece of sh*t," I mentally scream at myself.
