On that battlefield, amid the roar of floating tanks and the flash of swords cutting through the air like captive lightning, she realized the terrifying truth: she had fallen into the heart of a conflict she did not understand, a war of epic proportions where her only priority was no longer to understand the "how" or the "why," but simply to breathe one more second. This approach establishes the mystery and urgency from the start, allowing the reader to feel the same bewilderment as the protagonist as she witnesses, for the first time, the scale of the Clone Wars.

I looked all over Wattpad and only found a small handful of good Star Wars stories that AREN'T CRINGE SHIPS OR NSFW. So I did it myself. Just a little warning if you're an OT fan, these mostly take place in the prequel era and revolve around Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Ahsoka. I'm a big fan of the prequel era/Jedi Order so most of these will be Clone Wars era. Though I have added a few OT oneshots, they are rare and I mostly write prequel stuff. Sorry! It is a dark time for the Republic. It has been revealed that Chancellor Palpatine is a Sith lord. After finding this out, the Jedi Council discusses how they will defeat him. Meanwhile, Anakin Skywalker is having dreams that his wife, Padmé Amidala, is going to die while giving birth to their child. Anakin puts his trust in Chancellor Palpatine to help save Padmé's life after he learns that Palpatine may be the way to saving Padmé from dying in childbirth. The Jedi successfully end up defeating the Chancellor, but not before he declares that the Republic is now a Galactic Empire. When the Chancellor is defeated, Anakin starts to stress more than he already was (and definitely more than he needs to). After all, Palpatine was Anakin's only hope to saving Padmé from dying... right? About a month after Padmé gives birth, she and a few others get together to form a small rebellion to take down and destroy the Empire. At first, it's a struggle, but over the years, their small Rebellion manages to grow bigger and stronger in numbers. Disclaimer: I do not own any of these characters, nor am I claiming to. It was said before...dark times approach as the sun and the moon go by, and it was true. Everyone that could, as well as everyone that couldn't, were able to feel it somehow. That darkness felt like a knot in the throat, a tickle in the pit of the stomach, a shiver in the bones...and it felt closer. The Clone Wars continued to escalate and they seemed to have no end, our heroes grew tired everyday and wondered if this could be called "a life" anymore; their happiness seemed to last merely seconds, specially since the team no longer is what it once was. However, not everything is sadness, not everything is sorrow. There's also love, there's also happiness, and most importantly, there's hope. Hope that everything will get better, hope that there could be a bright future for the Galaxy and it's inhabitants. The questions that remained were if this light could defeat the darkness, if good could overcome evil, if people could remain happy, if love was really the strongest power, if angels could turn into demons and if those angels could defeat demons or if demons could turn back into angels. There's only one way to find out, by travelling through the second part of this story. We'll watch the Battle of the Heroes, we'll listen to the Duel of the Fates and we'll see if there's a New Hope. We'll see if good prevails or if it is defeated by the shadows once and for all.
