I have been offered a music scholarship to Chance Music College. It's unbelievable. As I walk down the halls, I am serenaded by a melody. A cellist? I follow the melody and it leads me to a practice room. I see a tall guy with black messy curtain hair... He wears formal attire - a black suit- as though he is preparing for a performance. I look away for a split second, and he's there standing right in front me. "Sorry, you're in my way. I'm late". He dashes off. There's something about him that allures me. Sometimes, in life, you have to walk on a path by yourself, it is like playing a solo part. The thing about this song that you have, is that it is up to you to make it adagio, allegro or allegro assai (slow-paced, regular-pace of fast-paced). After passing the entrance exam to a music conservatory in London, she moves halfway across the globe to study music. She was not a musical genius like some in the world, she had to work hard for music. But music works for her as well. Even though it's his first year at the Royal Conservatory of Music, he's more or less well known and the topic of many girls. People say he does martial arts, even though it probably affects his violin. People say he doesn't have any friends. People say he beats up others. That's what people say.

Essentially, I write a story where our favorite two demigods in band. If you like slowburn, rivals to lovers stories, this is for you! I'll try to update every week. ALL (or most) CHARACTERS BELONG TO RICK RIORDAN Extra disclaimer for prologue: For me, we tried out for honors band by going at different dates and stuff like that, not all places work the band system like my state does either. It's Concert -&gt; Symphonic -&gt; Honors for middle school (the prologue), and Concert -&gt; Symphonic -&gt; Wind symphony for high school, but that won't matter much since most of this takes place in marching band. Remember, the tryouts at the beginning are FOR THE STORY. With that out of the way, I would like to clarify that this description makes the story seem way worse than it actually is. Just... give it a chance!

An energetic trumpet player and a studious oboe player must team up and replace the conductor of their old youth orchestra, to save the orchestra that gave them their love for music. *** Tatyana has played in her youth orchestra for a decade. It's the first place where classical music was fun, where she realised she wanted to do this her whole life, and now she's half a year away from a trumpet degree and looking forward to their 25th anniversary concert. Her life is busy, but she's always made time for this ragtag group of musicians. When their conductor is unexpectedly fired, Tatyana panics. Without a conductor, there is no orchestra, and people aren't lining up to take over the baton. A month without a conductor is fine, that's just a break. But two months? Three? However long it takes to find a new conductor, not everyone is going to wait around when there are other orchestras, other hobbies. Tatyana decides that if there is no conductor, she'll need to learn the craft herself. She enlists the help of Cedric, the orchestra's oboe player and fellow music student. It'll just be for a few weeks, while they bundle their forces to find a new conductor. But a few weeks turn into months and conducting is very different from playing an instrument. Tatyana desperately wants this to work, but maybe she wants too much. As she and Cedric grow closer through their shared goal, the pressure turns up and emotions run high. The orchestra needs dedication, and there is no time or place for romance in that, let alone a sexuality crisis. Tatyana might need to choose, and whatever she chooses, it will break her heart.
