Karter Johansen is an epic badass. Michelle Flanders is a total nerd. Scarlet Black is a hopeless romantic. Rebecca Anderson is an obsessive band geek. Jessica Fitzgerald is a hardcore athlete. Emma Stevens is a textaholic popular. And Alexandra Quarent is all of these people. That's right, Alexandra Quarent is the girl with seven identities. She lives with her parents as a senior in high school. They know nothing. Karter, the badass, sneaks out at night with a fake ID, pretending to be twenty-one. Michelle, the nerd, is taking online college courses. Scarlet, the romantic, is dating a very popular boy, as usual. Rebecca, the band geek, has learned to play every instrument except the bassoon, which is what she's learning now. Jessica, the athlete, is now going for the school track record for the hundred meter dash. Emma, the popular, is about to have a major social crisis because her "mom" is going to punish her for her low grades and take her phone away. Alexandra, the entirety, is the family figure. This identity is solely used for the purpose of family. When Alexandra's septuple life starts to go down the drain, will all her identities follow, leading her secret to be discovered? Essentially, I write a story where our favorite two demigods in band. If you like slowburn, rivals to lovers stories, this is for you! I'll try to update every week. ALL (or most) CHARACTERS BELONG TO RICK RIORDAN Extra disclaimer for prologue: For me, we tried out for honors band by going at different dates and stuff like that, not all places work the band system like my state does either. It's Concert -&gt; Symphonic -&gt; Honors for middle school (the prologue), and Concert -&gt; Symphonic -&gt; Wind symphony for high school, but that won't matter much since most of this takes place in marching band. Remember, the tryouts at the beginning are FOR THE STORY. With that out of the way, I would like to clarify that this description makes the story seem way worse than it actually is. Just... give it a chance!

Imagine being ambushed into being responsible for directing your own future while still in high school. That’s the situation that Rory Coleman is in. His parent’s lack of interest and his teacher’s intention to have him follow their agendas force him to take control. Rory chooses a path he knows is right for him and he applies for a chemistry scholarship. When his disgruntled former music teacher, tries to prevent him from receiving the scholarship, Rory has to fight even harder to prove he’s the right candidate. While Rory fights for his chosen future, his new girlfriend, Victoria Beach, is being forced into a musical career by her parents and the same disgruntled music teacher. She thinks she may be restricting her options by not looking at other possibilities for her future. Possibilities that fly in the face of those who think they are looking out for her best interests. Rory and Victoria work toward building their own future. Hoping to choose without the interference of the adults in their lives; Learning the process that introduces them to the isolation of deciding for one’s self.

I have been offered a music scholarship to Chance Music College. It's unbelievable. As I walk down the halls, I am serenaded by a melody. A cellist? I follow the melody and it leads me to a practice room. I see a tall guy with black messy curtain hair... He wears formal attire - a black suit- as though he is preparing for a performance. I look away for a split second, and he's there standing right in front me. "Sorry, you're in my way. I'm late". He dashes off. There's something about him that allures me. I have to find out what it is. start: 15.07.19 end :

Akaashi Keiji, a 2nd year oboist in Fukurodani concert band loves music and his instrument. He always had a hard time making friends because he is kind of quiet and has anxiety but when he went to middle school and joined the band he finally had found something to release his emotions. Later in high school Akaashi meets a boy named Bokuto Kotaro, a 3rd year percussionist and they become friends which surprises many as Akaashi is quiet and Bokuto is loud with many mood swings. To Akaashi, Bokuto means everything though because he is the only one there for him when it really matters. To Bokuto, Akaashi means everything because he can handle his personality like no other. It's hard to believe that you can be happy, especially when you have a past that make you think you can't. Follow Ella and Ellie, aka the twins, as they piece themselves back together and learn to be happy.
