In this sequel to Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, Princess Zelda, anxious to finish the restoration of the miniature guardian Terrako, eagerly awaits the return of Link, who has for months been deployed to the cold region of Hebra and now holds the final piece to restoring the little knight. But though the calamity is gone, darkness is brewing in distant lands. Reunited once more, the princess and her loyal knight set out to face a threat that will push them to their limits. This story is set about one year after the events of the game, and heavily incorporates elements of that, as well as other LOZ games. As Majora's Mask was the first 3D Zelda game I ever played, this is a love letter to that work, as well as to the wild era games. For the past ten months, I have worked extremely hard to bring this tale to life, struggling late into the night and even praying for help as I've crafted each element of the story. With one last summer before college, Zelda is forced from her books and other introverted habits to be a camp counselor at Lake Hylia. Her plush mattress is traded for a cabin cot and the mosquitos are out to eat her alive but it's what her parents wanted to teach her some social skills before the dorms. It's just one summer after all. Link is on his way to the army after joining the staff for the last time at the summer camp he was practically raised in. He's determined to make the most of it, and that means teaching the new girl all the ins and outs he's been learning since the seventies. And maybe it means getting her to kiss him too.

Madeline is alone. Living at the edge of The Lost Woods with only her horse, she finds a forest boy named Link. He says that he saved the world once, and she joins him on a quest to stop the Great Ganondorf from taking over Hyrule. This is a fan of of Link, the Hero of Time, and Malon. It is written in Malon's pov almost exclusively. It centers around friendship, trauma, maturity and eventually true and lasting connection. Link struggles with having such an older soul in a child's body, keeping the adult experiences in OoT mostly to himself and how his trip to Termina broke his mind a little (didn't we all break from MM a little?) I love the idea of a relatively normal and incandescently happy life for Link and Malon. I obviously don't own any of these characters, etc. credit to Nintendo.

When the Calamity struck dread swept through Hyrule, but after a hundred years only the tale of the Silent Hero and the Princess of Fate were told to the younglings But there were other tales, other stories that were untold of brave warriors, lonesome knights, carriers of hope, and this book contains these tales.

Rumor has it a hero has run amuck to undo all the dastardly damage done by King Ganondorf. The rains in Kakariko have dried. The forest has been eradicated of monsters and Lake Hylia is abundant with crystal clear waters once more. However the hero restoring peace to Hyrule once battle at a time is pretty... unremarkable. At least to you. It isn't until a freak accident with your younger brother occurs that a hero with bigger problems - like saving Hyrule- shows you that even though his back is against the wall as an unremarkable hero- he is quite the remarkable man. {I'm at work I have to rewrite this synopsis!}

What happened to Link after he left Termina? This story aims to bridge the gap between what happened after the adventure in Termina and his spectral appearance before the Hero of Twilight. I highly recommend playing the video games The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess before reading this story. Ever wanted any Zelda games made into a full on musical? This is a draft for an Ocarina of Time musical, and I KNOW THE SONGS KINDA SUCK but I made them up on the spot. So here we go.

In the beautiful land of Hyrule, there is a princess. A princess who is the only heir to the throne. A princess who is brave and strong minded. A princess who wishes for something different. A princess who wishes for her life to be different. A princess who got her wish, with a certain twist. A princess who got a change of fate. This princess is the one and only, Zelda. ~ When the Godesses give Zelda her wish, they change more then just her fate. Zelda is 16 years old who is a master with a sword and a bow. Unlike most girls in her village who want to settle down with a husband and start a family, she wants to explore Hyrule and go on adventures. Others have tried to warn her that there are monsters in the open lands and forests, but it only makes her want to go out there even more. What this girl doesn't know, is that Hyrule's dangers are increasing day by day. Soon darkness will shroud the land, followed by a terrible fate for every inhabitant. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live a life with Link? Whether it be skyward bound, a drift in time, steeped in the glowing embers of twilight, or from a different timeline? Whether it be the Chosen Hero of the Goddess, The Hero of Time, The Hero of Twilight, or The Hero of Hyrule? Some of these will go along with their respected games. With Skyward Sword Link it will range from Pre-Skyward Sword through Post-Skyward Sword. While Twilight Princess Link will happen after the events of his game. And if anyone want me to add another Link (Ex: Dark Link or Fierce Deity Link) just say so. If anyone wants to request a preference just say so.
