A prequel to Ocarina of time going into the Civil War. Making a new story about the Knights of Hyrule and an extension to the world a bit. While also trying to keep in-line with Canon, keeping the themes and sort of Dark Fantasy Nature of Ocarina of Time. To that end it's going to be a rather sad story that starts life as relaxed tale.

Setting out with her trusted knight, the princess seeks to use her newfound power to eliminate the remaining monsters and heal the land of the Demon King's influence. ... This fanfic heavily incorporates elements from TOTK, the Switch 2 Zelda voice memories, and Age of Imprisonment. Seeing as AOI is likely the last we'll ever see of the wild era Link and Zelda, I wanted a bit of closure on some aspects of the story that the games never give us. Sequel to Courage is the Gift I Offer. Colin is left alone in Hyrule Castle. Link, the Hero, has chosen The Twilight Realm and its Princess over Hyrule and Princess Zelda. Colin's trainer in the sword, Fenwa, is given direct orders from Zelda to go to the Gerudo desert and find the people there. Colin's father, Rusl, goes as a diplomat. The Sages sense something wrong is about to happen, and ask Colin to see them. From then on out, the willful boy changes for the good of Hyrule. Rated PG just in case.
