People were blaming it on water changes or rabies but the one thing all of them had in common. They never blamed themselves. Plants began to grow rapidly and no one could stop it. Next thing those humans knew Mother Nature began to take control. Humans even began to become animal hybrids which the reason why was unknown. All of this happening leaving the last few 'pure humans' to live discarded from the rest of the world.
