Dumbledore didn't know half the secrets surrounding Sirius Black and never bothered to care. He didn't know about the boarder-line abusive house he was returned to every summer. He didn't know that he was an Animagus. He didn't know that he wasn't the Potter's Secret Keeper. He didn't even bother to get him a trial before throwing him into Azkaban. So why should he know that he was Married? He knew about his daughter, enough to send to her Grandmother's. He cared about enough about her to try to send her to her relatives the Malfoy's upon her Grandmothers death. But sending her to that hell hole would cause the carefully curated plans he set up to start to fall apart. When planning something as complex as the fall of the Dark Lord, and intentionally allow for people to die and get hurt in the war you allowed, it is best to leave no stones unturned lest something unexpected arises in the future. And what's more unexpected than a young girl who knows to much, and refuses to trust you or fall in line?
