Book One of the Ocean Constellations Saga
The ocean is not endless.
It is a galaxy folded inward, its stars burning in coral reefs and spiral currents.
And tonight, its constellations fall.
When five Leviathans crash from the heavens, their power brands five young merfolk from rival tribes:
• Lyrian, the reluctant navigator of the Tidesworn, who never wanted to lead but now carries a map of stars burned into his skin.
• Kael, the fiery warrior of the Pyre Vents, who believes strength is the only way to survive.
• Nyra, the exiled priestess of the Reefs, who knows the sea has lied to them all.
• Veyric, the silent guardian of the Abyssal Veil, who fears he is destined to become the monster his people already see in him.
• Selura, the comet-rider of the Spiral Currents, who swore she'd never be forgotten, no matter the cost.
Together, they are pulled by unseen currents toward a prophecy older than their tribes: The Five always fall. Every cycle, the Leviathans return, and every cycle, those chosen to oppose them are broken by betrayal, pride, or despair.
But this time is different. The constellations above are vanishing. The Star-Witches - once merfolk themselves - are hunting them. And in the deepest trench, something far older than the Leviathans is stirring.
To survive, the Five must fight monsters born of stars, face the lies of their own people, and learn to trust one another in a world built on division. But if the prophecy is true, one of them is destined to betray the rest...
The ocean remembers.
And the cycle always returns.
