For Noel, he was his first love, first blossoming of emotion within his troubled soul, nestling itself between his fluttering heartbeats. For Ocean, he was everything bad. The Devil incarnate himself. Everything she could not have in her perfect world of success. And that made him so much more desirable. But Mischa had a girlfriend at home in Ukraine.

Penny and Ezra Lamb are new students at Saint Cassian Catholic School. Ocean O'Connell Rosenberg is meant to show them around and make them feel comfortable at their new school, but she finds herself more and more intrigued with the Lambs as she shows them around - Penny, especially. She must learn to overcome her dislike and reservations around the siblings to discover more about them (and, surprisingly, herself).
